Patrick Hall was from Donegal County, Ireland. His first wife's name was Isabelle.
According to the records of Patrick's great, great grandson, John A. Hogg, Jr., the Halls were from northern Ireland. It appears that the Hall home in Ireland was in Donegal County. It is part of family legend that at the time that William invaded Ireland, the Irish Hall estate was taken over and occupied by an English Laird, who chose to keep the Hall family on the estate where they served as tutors for the Laird’s family, the Halls being educated.
