Elmer Charles Keas was born April 24, 1911, in Venango County, Pennsylvania.
Bertha Twila Mae "Twila" Hogg, daughter of Samuel and Ellen Hogg, was born February 12, 1913, in Keister, Pennsylvania.
Elmer and Twila were married on February 14, 1931, and they had four children:

Early in her career Twila worked for the Spencer hospital, and served in the household of Grand C. and Monabelle Hefferman.
Charles and Twila were members of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church. They owned Keas' TV Sales in Cochranton, Pennsylvania. Charles also was a machinist at Universal Cyclops in Titusville. Both Charles and Twila were active in the community. Charles was a member of the Cochranton Masonic Lodge 790, Commandery of Meadville, the Titusville Organ Club, the National Travelers Club of Meadville, and at the time of his death, was the last living charter member of the Cooperstown Fire Department. Twila was in the Cochranton Fire Department Auxiliary, the Order of the Eastern Star, the National Travelers Club, and the Titusville Organ Club.
Charles died September 25, 1987, in Titusville, Pennsylvania. Twila died of a heart attack February 09, 1990, in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
