Johannes and Johanne Müeller

Johannes Müeller was born in 1825 in Würtemburg, Germany. His parents have not been identified.

Johanne Gottliebin Wahl was born in 1826, the daughter of Johann Adam and Magdalena Caroline Wahl. Her father Johann Adam Wahl was born on November 18, 1800, in Köchersberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Johann died on January 9, 1852, in his hometown, at the age of 51. Her mother, Magdalena Caroline Wurst was born on July 10, 1808, in Germany. Magdalena died on December 8, 1865, in Köchersberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, at the age of 57. Johanne, their daughter, was their only known child, though a son was referenced in an autobiography of Johanne's son, John Gabriel Miller, Sr.

Gottliebin Müeller Married a farmer. She died in Indiana.
Rosine Karoline "Caroline" Müeller Caroline was born on March 11, 1865. She married Johann Georg Kreb on November 25, 1886. They had 13 children. She died on May 29, 1936, in Iowa, at the age of 71, and was buried in Bremer County, Iowa.
Christina Müeller Born on June 3, 1867, in Germany. She married Johann Georg Steinbronn on March 31, 1891. They had eleven children during their marriage. One died as a young child in Germany. The entire family moved to northeast Iowa in the early 1900s. Another son died a couple years later, after he was beaten up by other kids, at the local rural elementary school, for speaking German and for not being able to speak English well. The other nine children all grew to adults, married and had children. Christina died on October 23, 1918, at the age of 51.
John Gabriel Miller, Sr. Born on December 29, 1871, in Backnang, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He married Emma Lydia Goughnour on November 22, 1894, in Black Hawk, Iowa. They had 11 children in 16 years. He died in January 1964 in Waterloo, Iowa, at the age of 92, and was buried there. John was a successful businessman, and was quite wealthy in his later years.
??? Müeller Born about 1873, in Germany. He died as a child about 1878, in Germany.
Gotlob Miller Born about 1876, in Germany. He had seven sons and three daughters with Anna ???? between 1897 and 1923. He died on February 16, 1921, in Germany, at the age of 45.
Christoph Miller Born on December 29, 1869, in Backnang, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He married Carolina Dorothea Webber on October 6, 1895, in Dunkerton, Iowa. They had six children in 15 years. 'Christ' was a successful businessman, and at one time owned the family farm that his sister Caroline and her husband Johann Georg Kreb lived on when they moved to the US in 1905-1906. He died on June 28, 1953, in Waterloo, Iowa, at the age of 83, and was buried in Readlyn, Iowa.

Johannes died in 1905 in Germany, having lived a long life of 80 years. Johanne also died in 1905 in Germany at the age of 79.
